Lorene A. Jones, 89, of Melbourne, Florida, formerly of Chattanooga, left this world to be with the love of her life on Jan. 26, 2021. She has known him since she was 6 years old. 

 

She was an artist, a dulcimer player, she wrote a book, and was the best mom and nanny ever. 

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Jones, parents Charlie Arthur Adams and Dovie Massengale Adams, sisters Ruby Meade, Judy Ritchie, brothers Buddy Adams, Robert Adams, Charlie Jr. (Sparky).

 

She is survived by sister Ruth Minter of Crofton, MD, son Rick (Sharon) Hutchens, Vonni Jones, Susan (Ricky) Miller, Ginger (Jimmy) Howard; grandchildren Jennifer, Paul, Tiffanie, Travis, Morgan, Courtney, and Heath; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.  She will be missed and loved every day. 

 

In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.  And as she always said, “Do random acts of kindness”. 

 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
