Gass, Derrell Quinton (Trenton)

Derrell Quinton Gass, 81, of Trenton, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Gass was a graduate of Davis High School, class of 1958, and a member of New Home Baptist Church. He was employed with E.I. DuPont for many years, retired from Combustion Engineering and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. 

Derrell was preceded in death by his parents, Myron M. & Delia Crisp Gass; brothers, Keith and Dewight Gass; and sisters, June Smith, Myrna Kesler and Jwendolyn McBryar.

Survivors include his sons, Jeffery Gass, Greg Gass, Kevin Gass and Gene Richards, all of Trenton; brothers, Maurice and Bennie Gass, both of Trenton; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m. at New Home Cemetery, with Rev. Johnny Wooten officiating. Military honors will be observed.
