Geneva J. Walker
Geneva J. Walker, 73, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 in a local hospital.
Geneva was born in Cleveland and she was the daughter of the late Edna Lucille McClure Johnson and Walter E. Johnson. She was retired from Benton Manufacturing with over 15 years of service. She enjoyed going to yard sales and traveling. Most of all, she loved being a grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren. Geneva attended the Chilcutt United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Bales, Calhoun, Tennessee; son, Jason Walker (Amy) Cleveland; eight grandchildren; sisters, Edna Ruth Cabrera, Betty Jo Brown (Howard) all of Cleveland; brothers, James Johnson (Barbara), Cleveland, David Johnson, Benton, John Johnson, Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Thursday, Oct. 28, at 5 p.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with family and friends sharing. Graveside service and interment will be conducted at a later time at the Chilcutt United Methodist Church Cemetery.
