Robert “Bob” Leo Boyl Sr., 66, of Sweetwater, went to be with the Lord on October 28, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. He was born on Aug. 1, 1955 to the late Robert and Margie Boyl. Bob enjoyed driving a truck for a living and spending time with his family.
Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his siblings; Donnie Boyl, Jimmy Boyl, Diane Bowman and Phylis Valdez.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Anna Saylor-Boyl, of Sweetwater; his children, Jimmy Saylor, of South Dakota, Brian Saylor, of Sweetwater, David Boyl (April), of Michigan and Robert Boyl, Jr., of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Kristen McDaniel, of Sweetwater, Carpathia Saylor, of Tennessee, Gabriel Saylor, of Alabama, Isaiah Saylor, of Tennessee, Jason Jeffers, of Michigan, Jordan Brown, of Michigan, Bradley & Kayanna Short, of Michigan, Brittany & Austin Calhoun, of Tennessee and Caleb Saylor, of Kentucky; his great-grandchildren, Camden & Braxton McDaniel, of Tennessee and Jaxson Calhoun, of Tennessee; his siblings, Kathy York, of Michigan, Becky Boyl, of Michigan, Tyrone Boyl (Kim), of Michigan, Brian Boyl, of Michigan, Jim Saylor (Rhonda), of Kentucky, Dorothy Sizemore, of Kentucky, Pete Crawford, of Tennessee and Connie Boyl, of Michigan; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 1 at Companion Funeral Home of Athens from 4-6 p.m., 400 S. White St. in Athens.
