No New COVID Deaths Reported In Hamilton County, 69 New Cases; Tennessee Has 31 More Deaths

The Hamilton County Health Department reported no more coronavirus deaths on Tuesday and 69 new positive cases, up from 57 on Monday. The total number of cases in the county now stands at 64,205. The death total is at 652.

The number of COVID-19 hospitalizations is 75 in Hamilton County - up from 69 on Monday. Six more are hospitalized with suspected COVID. There are 15 Hamilton County inpatients and 21 patients are in ICU - up from 17 on Monday.

The number of those who have recovered from coronavirus in Hamilton County is 62,839, which is 98 percent. There are 714 active cases, down from 736 on Monday.

Tennessee reported 1,069 new cases on Monday, for a total of 1,283,487 coronavirus cases. 

There were 31 more deaths in Tennessee reported on Tuesday, for a total of 16,408.

The state currently has 879 people hospitalized from the virus, 38 fewer than the day before.

The number of coronavirus tests that have been administered in the state is 10.356 million.

There have been 1,255,237 Tennesseans that have recovered from the virus, which is 98 percent.

Bledsoe County:  3,503 cases, up 9; 18 deaths

Bradley County:  22,221 cases, up 64; 199 deaths, up 2

Grundy County: 2,857 cases, up 10; 38 deaths

Marion County: 5,794 cases, up 11; 54 deaths

McMinn County: 10,556 cases, up 27; 132 deaths

Meigs County: 2,187 cases, up 6; 28 deaths

Polk County: 3,194 cases, up 7; 31 deaths

Rhea County: 7,003 cases, up 15; 93 deaths

Sequatchie County: 3,005 cases, up 8; 33 deaths

Knox County: 78,940 cases, up 246; 928 deaths, up 2

Davidson County: 121,575 cases, up 300; 1,167 deaths, up 3

Shelby County: 144,651 cases, up 297; 2,267 deaths, up 11
