Henry Joseph Gaudet, 91, of Rock Spring, Georgia, a native of Violet, Louisiana, went to his heavenly home, on Saturday, December 18, 2021. 

Henry retired from Exxon Mobil after more than 30 years.  He was a member of Chalmette Track Club and St. Gerard Catholic Church of Fort Oglethorpe, and he was a ham radio operator (WA5WGN).

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Eva Evans Gaudet, sons, Bruce and Michael, daughter-in-law, Juli Gaudet, brother, Richard Gaudet.

Henry is survived by his wife of 67 years, Edwina Salvant Gaudet, sons, Jeffrey (Suzy), Matthew (Heidi), grandchildren, Bruce Jr., Melissa, and Wyatt Gaudet, great-grandchildren, Brandon (Kristian), Devyn and Destiny Gaudet, great-great-grandchild, Charlie Canzoneri and one on the way.

A local memorial mass and a service in Violet, La. will be held at a later date.
