Daniel Thurman
Daniel "Doodle" Stephen Thurman II, 40, of Soddy Daisy, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at his home.
Daniel was the owner of Handyman Concepts, a class of 99 graduate of Soddy Daisy High School, and a member of Abba's House. He had a great love for music, and was the co-owner of Highwayz Records.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hoyt Thurman; Grace Watts Thurman, and Bobby and Johnnie Ward; and his beloved dog, Augustine.
Survivors include his mother, Donna Faye (Tom) Davy; father, Danny (Pat) Thurman; sister, Chasity (Benji Johnson) Thurman; nieces, Taylor and Maddison Baumgartner, and Harley Johnson; step-children, Madeline & Jack Millard; step-siblings, Michael (Allison) Johnston, Jeff Johnston, Julie (Mitch) Hickman; Amber Johnston; Elizabeth (Shane) Moon; Kyle Davy; Brooke (Blake) Davy and Beth Keeler.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 14, in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Ronnie Phillips, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home. The service will be streamed live from the funeral home Facebook page.
Covid-19 mandates require social distancing to be observed and masks be worn during all services.
