Evie L. Little, 88, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021, in Chattanooga.
She was employed by Erlanger and retired from SunTrust Bank. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Saint Elmo Missionary Baptist Church. She was a chef for many establishments here in the city.
She was predeceased by her parents, Willie Joe and Lillie Mae DeVance; daughter, Minnie Wright; sisters, Minnie Atkinson, Louise Pace, and Ruby DeVance; brothers, Abraham DeVance and Rush DeVance; grandson, Richard Ervin.
She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Ida Snow (Kevin Kinamore); grandson, Corey (Kim) Barnette; great granddaughters, Kelci and Cierra Barnette; devoted friend, Rosetta Dupree; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A public viewing will be held from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the funeral home. A private funeral service will be held. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
