No New COVID Deaths In Hamilton County, 49 More Cases; Tennessee Has 45 More Deaths

Hamilton County had 49 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, bringing the total to 42,192. There are no new deaths from the virus as the total remains at 472.

There are 63 patients hospitalized and 20 in Intensive Care Units. Six others are in the hospital with suspected COVID. Of those hospitalized, 27 are county residents.

The number of those who have recovered from coronavirus in Hamilton County is 40,891, which is 97 percent, and there are 829 active cases.

The number of coronavirus cases in Tennessee is at 804,492 on Wednesday with 1,388 new cases. There have been 45 more deaths from the virus, for a total of 11,792, state Health Department officials said.

The state currently has 830 people hospitalized from the virus, which is 60 more than on Tuesday.

Testing numbers are above 7.125 million across the state. 

The number of people who have recovered from coronavirus in Tennessee is 779,152, which is 97 percent.

Grundy County: 1,735 cases, up 4; 30 deaths

Meigs County: 1,299 cases, up 2; 23 deaths

Polk County: 1,885 cases, up 4; 24 deaths

Rhea County: 4,228 cases, up 8; 75 deaths

Sequatchie County: 1,618 cases, up 8; 28 deaths, up 2

Knox County: 47,852 cases, up 82; 605 deaths, up 1

Davidson County: 84,612 cases, up 123; 887 deaths, up 3

Shelby County: 89,738 cases, up 113; 1,548 deaths, up 10
