Kim White Is Good For Chattanooga

  • Monday, March 8, 2021

I live in East Ridge, but I do business in all of Metro Chattanooga. I have a lot of love for the Scenic City (is it still called that? ... It should be). I conduct real estate transactions in Chattanooga. I play music in Chattanooga. I have a lot at stake in the city's future.

As most know (who know me), I'm politically 'interested', and somewhat involved. I watched the campaigns of candidates for mayor of Chattanooga with great interest. As the rhetoric and posturing unfolded, I paid attention to the conduct of the candidates. I was impressed with Kim White. In fact, I was impressed with only Kim White.

I reached out to her through a mutual friend, and she contacted me. Now, I'm really impressed. I like her platform. She seems genuinely concerned with the wellbeing of Chattanooga and its citizens. All its citizens. She makes sense.

I believe she is a good listener. During my conversation with her, she said nothing about any other candidate. No mudslinging. No one-ups-manship. She very succinctly explained what her vision for Chattanooga is.

That's what the city needs. Vision. Honesty. It matters not to me (or most Chattanoogans) what her gender is. She will be good for all Chattanoogans. She has what it takes to be Mayor Kim White.
