This Mother’s Day Weekend, FIT4MOM Chattanooga is partnering with The MOMentum Network (recently featured on NBC’s “Today with Hoda & Jenna”) to host the Second Annual Run Mama Run 5K/10K. Plus, the race kicks off a week of free classes for any mom in celebration of the holiday.
Race registration is open now for the event on Saturday, May 8, 9-11 a.m. at Blue Goose
Hollow Trailhead, 876 W 9th Ave. in Chattanooga, which is open to all, including moms. Runners can begin their race anytime within that window in order to allow for social distancing. After running, moms will be treated to free coffee, hair styling, massages and more.

Officials said, "The day promises to celebrate the strength, community and joy found in motherhood, all while celebrating small businesses." In addition to FIT4MOM Chattanooga and The MOMentum
Network, small businesses like Be Caffeinated, Fox & Fern, Mane Station Chattanooga, The
MASAJ and more will all have a presence at the event.
In addition to the run, all moms in the Chattanooga area are invited to a free week of classes
with FIT4MOM Chattanooga May 10-14. Any mom who attends during this free week will have
the opportunity to win one of two gift baskets, including additional free classes at FIT4MOM
Chattanooga and goods from local small businesses, many of them women/mother-owned.
Register at mothersdayweek.paperform.co to attend any classes during the free week.
All proceeds from the race will go directly to The MOMentum Network, which builds a village
around single moms to empower them to complete college and transform their families and
communities. Since the network’s launch in 2014, it has invested in more than 170 Chattanooga
women and children by providing things like housing, tutoring and mentoring.
FIT4MOM Chattanooga is a fitness organization specializing in prenatal and postnatal
