Dorothy Reynolds
Dorothy E. “Dot” Reynolds, 99, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Dot had been a long time resident of Kimball, Tn. She was an active member of Kimball Baptist Church since 1960. She was born on January 22, 1922, to the late William Perry Roper and Eunice Blanch Robinson Roper. Dot was married to the late Santford L. Reynolds.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Santford L. Reynolds; parents, William Perry and Eunice Blanch Robinson Roper Perry; daughter-in-law, Jo Reynolds; brother, Perry Roper; and sisters, Ruth Bowles, Jewel Brown, Bernice Genner and Edith Clark.
Dot leaves her years of memories to her sons, Bill Reynolds and Steve (Linda) Reynolds; daughter, Denise (Jim) May; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
The family will have visitation on Saturday, June 12, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. CT at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tn.
The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home following the visitation at 2 p.m. CT with Pastor Bruce Howland officiating.
Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tn.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers to make donations to Kimball Baptist Church Building Fund in her memory or to your local church or community.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Hambrick, James Church, Ernie Harris, Eli Blevins, Ken Samples and Dean Cartwright.
