Two Blood Assurance blood mobiles will be parked at Refined Looks Spa, 901 Riverfront Pkwy., Suite 100 in Chattanooga, this Thursday from 3-7 p.m. collecting blood donations. Refined Looks is partnering with Blood Assurance to host this blood drive in memory of Chattanooga area plastic surgeon, Dr. Woody Kennedy, who passed away in 2019.
"Dr. Kennedy was the chief of staff at the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Hospital Authority, loved and missed by many," organizers said. "Blood Assurance and Refined Looks encourage community members to come out to donate in his honor this Thursday. One donation can save three lives in our community.
"So far, over 30 appointments are booked. Walk-in donations are welcome."
