Allen Robert Lee Holmes, 82, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away July 21, 2021. Born to the late Jim Holmes and Christa Allen on Oct. 20, 1938. Allen was employed with Hart’s Auto Parts as a salesman for over 40 plus years. He also was a car hobbyist, who enjoyed fooling with old cars.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Holmes; mother, Christa Allen; wife, Jo Ann Payne Holmes; and brother, Willard Holmes.
Survived by his sons, Jimmy Holmes and Tony (Sharon) Holmes; grandchildren, Parker Holmes, Landen Holmes, Carson Holmes and Bailey Holmes.
A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 24 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
