Allen Dewayne “Buck” Green was born to Melvin and Pearlie Mae Green on August 29, 1964.

He was educated in the Chattanooga Public School System. He was formerly employed by McDonalds for many years.

Allen was preceded in death by his brother, Melvin, Jr.; grandparents, Roy and Inez Daniels, Ann Mae and Frank Green.

Cherishing his memories are spouse, Gertrude Green; mother and father, Melvin and Pearlie Mae Green; son, Allen Green, Jr.; 3 daughters, Amelia and Tameka Green, and Derika Walker, all of Chattanooga, Tennessee; 4 stepsons, Romondo, Frederico, Alfred, and Altan Jones, all of Chattanooga, Tennessee; 6 sisters, Gail Daniels, Arnetta (Jimmy) Blake, Phelisa Green, Lisa (Rev. James) Sorrells, all of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Jackie (Booker) Nutley, of Norfolk, Virginia, and Audrey Battle, of Chattanooga, Tennessee; brother, Phillip Green, of Chattanooga, Tennessee; 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; mother-in-law, Rosie M. Hall; 4 sisters-in-law, Debra Green, Minister Lizzie (Terrance) King, Shirley Hall, and Ernestine Montgomery; brother-in-law, William Hall (Erian); aunts, Glorian, Shirley and Patricia Green, all of Chattanooga, Tennessee; uncle, Nathaniel (Carolyn) Green, of Chattanooga, Tennessee; very special friends, Sue Walker, Joann Watkins, Doris Wordlaw, Crystal Walker, Johnny Reed, and mother of his children, Cynthia Leaster.

Public viewing will be held from 9-11 a.m., followed by an 11:30 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, Aug. 7, at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church, 1107 North Hickory Street. 

Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery
