Hamilton County Has 305 More COVID Cases, 41 In ICU And No New Deaths; Tennessee Has 7 More Deaths

Hamilton County had 305 new coronavirus cases reported on Wednesday, bringing the total to 49,445.

There have been no more deaths from the virus, and the total remains at 525 in the county.

There are 161 patients hospitalized and 41 in intensive care units. Two more are hospitalized with suspected COVID. There are 72 Hamilton County inpatients.

The number of those who have recovered from coronavirus in Hamilton County is 46,491, which is 94 percent. There are 2,329 active cases. 

The number of coronavirus cases in Tennessee is at 931,107 Wednesday with 4,097 new cases. There were seven more deaths reported, for a total of 12,892, State Health Department officials said.

The state currently has 1,919 people hospitalized from the virus, which is 124 more than on Tuesday. Testing numbers are above 8.602 million across the state.

The number of people who have recovered from coronavirus in Tennessee is 879,735, which is 94 percent.

Bradley County:  16,215 cases, up 46; 157 deaths

Grundy County: 1,945 cases, up 8; 35 deaths

Marion County: 3,557 cases, up 17; 50 deaths

Meigs County: 1,517 cases, up 7; 24 deaths

Polk County: 2,255 cases, up 9; 25 deaths, up 1

Rhea County: 4,663 cases, up 28; 83 deaths

Sequatchie County: 1,918 cases, up 16; 30 deaths

Knox County: 55,082 cases, up 168; 666 deaths, up 1

Davidson County: 96,000 cases, up 304; 979 deaths

Shelby County: 110,525 cases, up 456; 1,760 deaths
