Christopher Blevins
Christopher Lee Blevins, 55, was born on June 27, 1966 to the late Carl and Louise Blevins.
He went to be with Jesus on Friday, September 17, 2021. Chris is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kim Blevins; brothers, Carl Lynn Blevins and John (Angie) Blevins; nieces, Nicole and Sarah Blevins.
He was employed by Kenco for over 28 years and the last 4 ½ years, he worked for the Herman Grant Company. Chris was quiet for the most part but had strong convictions. He was a faithful witness to the grace and love of His Lord, Savior, Jesus Christ. Everyone he met knew he was a believer. Chris loved to help other people. If you were in need, Chris was willing and wanted to help. He always went the extra mile. Chris had a brilliant mind and could do almost anything. His hobbies were tinkering with projects around his home or working on old vehicles. Chris loved to antique and goodwill shopping. He would tell Kim, “It was a bargain!”. He was greatly loved and will be missed by his wife, family and friends.
The family will have visitation on Tuesday, Sept. 21, from 3-7 p.m. CST and Wednesday, Sept. 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.
Funeral service will follow the visitation in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home with Brother Stephen Brackett and Brother Stewart Sowder officiating the service.
Interment will follow at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball.
Pallbearers will be Mason Christopher, Garrison Christopher, Jay Christopher, Randy Harper, Stewart Sowder, and Davaughn Richardson.
