Harold Flemister Sr., 72, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at his residence, with his loving wife by his side.
He was born on Feb. 24, 1949, to Odessa Flemister (Ball) in Chattanooga. At age 13, Harold relocated to Monrovia, Liberia with his parents. There, he met his wife, Augusta Broderick. Before moving back to the states, born to them were three children, Odessa Flemister, Baby Flemister, and Harold E. Flemister.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; son; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Left to mourn his loss are his wife; four children; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother; three sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Harold will lie in state on Friday, Jan. 21, from 12:30-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Brother Charles Cochran as the eulogist. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
