Eddy Arnold Taylor, Sr., 71, of Trenton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 22, 2022. Eddy was born Oct. 8, 1950 to the late Red and Pauline Taylor. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish. He enjoyed playing the guitar, bird watching and feeding his squirrels. Eddy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Bogle; sister, Corinne Rushing; mother-in-law, Eva Mae Nicholson; and nephew, Phillip Rushing.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 49 years, Sandra Taylor; daughter, Tonia (Scottie Talley) Taylor; son, Eddy (Starla) Taylor, Jr.; brothers, Roger (Punkin) Taylor, Lonnie (Audrey) Taylor and Randy (Faye) Taylor; grandchildren, Nicole Fox, Falesha (John) Wells, Dillon Talley, Tyler Beavers, Matthew Beavers, Tristan Whited, Lakota Whited, Joel Bernard, Christopher Taylor and Joshua Taylor; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 24 and Tuesday, Jan. 25 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Trenton.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 25 at 1 p.m. in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home, with Brother Randy Taylor and Bradley Talley speaking. He will be laid to rest at Whitt Cemetery.
