Owner Of American Pearl Caviar For Over 57 Years

Franklin Hale, 82, went to his heavenly home on January 19, 2022.

 

Although his home was in Chattanooga, he spent the last 21 years expanding his business in Savannah, Tn. Mr. Hale was an entrepreneur in domestic caviar, which he was able to cultivate into a successful career as the owner of American Pearl Caviar, Inc. for over 57 years. Outside of his business, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in his garden, tending his flowerbeds, singing country music and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

 

Mr. Hale was preceded in death by his parents, William C. and Jossie Brymer Hale; brothers, Jonnie Melton Hale, Leslie T. Hale, J.C. Hale; sisters, Willene Hale Simmons and Marie Hale Simmons. children, Vickie Hale, Michael Hale, Larry Hale, and granddaughter, Alexis Nicole Melson.

 

He is survived by his wife and business partner of 47 years, Carolyn Hale, his children, Marcus Hale, Savannah, Darlene Lewis, Soddy Daisy, Wendy Hale Melson (Anthony), Savannah, Lucas Hale, Savannah, Makiya Hale, Savannah, brother, Bobby Hale (Jeannie), Chattanooga, sister, Jeanette Frentzos, Cookeville, grandchildren, William Hale, Rachel Hale, Cameron Hale, Devin Lewis, Kaitlyn Lewis, Noah Hale, Aston Melson, Alyssa Bolden and Kaine Hale, six great-grandchildren.

 

Special thank you to Ronnie Dixson for a wonderful friendship that stood the test of time.

 

The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 26.

 

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 27, at the North Chapel. Entombment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
