Charles Rose
Charles Michael Rose, 58, of Dayton Mountain, passed away on Thursday morning, January 27, 2021, at Rhea Medical Center.
He was born on January 16, 1964, in Chattanooga, the son of the late Dewey Regester Rose and Doris Loretta King.
Charles lived in Dayton Mountain all of his life and was a welder for over 30 years. He was a collector of Nascar, watched any type of western movies and enjoyed playing and spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his daughters, Kristin (James Johnson) Rose of Dayton and Heather (Matthew Strickland) Rose of Knoxville; his son, Michael Selph of Spring City; his sisters, Sharon (Smith) Wilson of Hixson and Joy (Robert) Applebaum of Winchester; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Charles will be held on Sunday, Jan. 30, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Tim Henderson officiating. He will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens.
