Trent Legra, 21, has been arrested for a fatal accident that happened on Oct. 21 on Hixson Pike.
Legra is charged with vehicular homicide by recklessness, two counts of aggravated assault by recklessness, failure to exercise due care, reckless driving and speeding.
A 41-year-old woman was killed in the accident.
The Chattanooga Police Traffic Division had responded around 4:44 p.m. to a two-vehicle crash near 4600 Hixson Pike.The driver of a Ford Focus was traveling north on Hixson Pike. The driver of a Nissan Altima attempted to turn left in front of the Focus resulting in a crash.
The three occupants in the Altima were taken to a hospital by Hamilton County EMS.
On Nov. 2, 2021, the front seat passenger of the Altima succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
