Guadalupe Luna Quintero, 66, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at her home surrounded by her dearest family and friends.

Guadalupe was born in Miguel Aleman, Tam., Mexico and called Raymondville, Texas her home for most of her young life. Dalton, Ga. became and remained her home for 33 years afterwards.

She was a devoted Catholic and attended Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dalton and the Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle in San Juan, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew her and she will be painfully missed.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Jesus Jose Quintero; her two daughters, Maria del Carmen and Mariana Quintero; brothers, Jose Luna, Ramon Luna, and Antonio Luna and sisters, Esther Soliz, Elisa Hinojosa, and Rosa Luna; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Sunday, Oct. 2, from 2-6 p.m. and a church mass will be held at Saint Joseph’s on Monday, Oct. 3, at 2 p.m.
