U.S. Army Veteran Retired From DuPont After 33 Years

Buck “B.H.” Biggs, 82, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022. 

He was a United States Army veteran, serving our country in the early 1960s, and then became employed with Dupont, retiring after 33 years.  Buck was of the Baptist faith, and resided in Dunlap, Tn. He loved spending time with his family and will always be remembered for being a loving husband, father, and Pawpaw.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Annise Biggs; brothers, Gary, David, Charlie, John Clyde, Walter, Jr., and Tommy Biggs, and sisters, Sandra Burns, Hazel Randall, Betty Mullis, Shirley Deems and Josephine Hagaman. 

Buck is survived by his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth Biggs; son, Bryan (Hope) Biggs; daughter, Edi (Kevin) Shrum; brother, Tony Biggs; grandchildren, Sara and Anna Shrum and Samuel, Josiah, Benjamin and Rebekah Biggs, as well as several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends on Monday, Feb. 21, from 3–7 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home at Highway 58. 

 

A visitation will also be held on Tuesday, Feb. 22, from 12-2 p.m.  A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Minister Bryan Biggs officiating.

 

A private burial with family will be held at a later date.
