Peggy Morales (formerly Peggy Diane Harris) passed away on March 29, 2022. She was 78 years old.

Peggy was born on May 26, 1943, in Chickamauga, Ga., and resided in Boynton Beach, Fl., at the time of her death. Peggy was a former student of the Bonny Oaks School children’s home of Chattanooga.

She was predeceased by her husband, Federico Morales; her father Joseph Andrew Harris and mother Martha Shirley (Wallace) Harris Scarbrough.

Peggy is survived by her sons, Bruce Boddie and Lucas Morales; her daughters-in-law, Andrea Boddie and Rhonda Morales; and her grandchildren, Samantha Love Boddie, Dominic Boddie, Leah Morales, and Ethan Morales of Florida; three brothers Joe (Linda) Harris, Signal Mountain, Tn., Jerry (Christine) Harris of Uniontown, Pa., and Tommy Scarbrough of Signal Mountain; three sisters, Yvonne Harris Wood of Charlottesville, Va., Hilda Sue Harris of Stephens City, Va., and Brenda Scarbrough (Edward) Petty of Ringgold.

Peggy was an active parishioner of St. Joseph's Episcopal Church in Boynton Beach, Fl., where she was a proud member of the Daughters of the King ministry. She also sang in the Robert Sharon Chorale for many years prior to her passing. Peggy was loved by her family, countless friends, and her community. She will be missed dearly.

Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph's Episcopal Church, 3300 S. Seacrest Boulevard, Boynton Beach, Fl. 33435, at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 22.
