Casey Ryan Honea, 26, of Rossville, Georgia, left this world for his heavenly home on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. 

 

He was a lifelong resident of the Rossville area where he was a 2014 graduate of Ridgeland High School. Casey was employed with Onin Staffing at Volkswagen and he was a member of Cloud Springs Baptist Church. Casey loved to fish, camp, go mudding and enjoy the outdoors. He also enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Cecil (Poppie) Phillips; paternal grandfather, Roger Honea, Sr.; and maternal great grandmother, Sarah Inis Daniels.

 

Survivors include his parents, Susan Kay Honea and Will Roger Honea, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Carolyn “Memaw” Phillips; paternal grandparents, Shirley and John Watkins; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 27, at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Bill Garner officiating.

 

Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery on Lookout Mountain.

 

The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 26, from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, Ga.
