Mr. Edward C. Dunnavant, 90, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at his residence.
Mr. Dunnavant is survived by his wife, Dixie Anita; sons, Mark, Terry and wife, Marcy, Jeff and wife, Anita; daughter, Lisa Hughes and husband, Tom; daughter-in-law, Kelly; six grandchildren, Amber, Joshua and wife, Shea, Antony, Jacob, Trina and Tiffany; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Vidra and husband, Steve; nephews, Tim and wife, Mary, Michael and wife, Becky; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and special neighbors, Roy and Elaine Cross, Jeri and Larry Dockery, Rosemary Green and Jeanette Cagle.

Mr. Dunnavant was born on Dec. 11, 1931 in Richmond, Va. to the late Herbert & Lois Dunnavant. He attended Westmore Church of God. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving in the Korean War. He retired from the maintenance departments at Waterville Golf Course and Church of God International Offices.
He was a generous man who enjoyed helping others. He loved wood working, mechanics and outside gardening with his flowers and vegetables. He liked watching the Atlanta Braves and Tennessee Titans and fishing.
There will be a graveside service in Chattanooga at the National Veterans Cemetery, with Reverend Eugene McCarley officiating the service.
