Adena P. Jones, 91, of Red Bank, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022, at her home.  

Adena was born on Aug. 2, 1930, in Chattanooga, to the late Sebarn and “Dode” Bell Sneed.

Adena was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved cooking and spending time with her family.  Adena was an active member of the Friendship Sunday School Class and a member of The Ministry Center Church for over 43 years.  

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her devoted husband Cliff Jones. A son Steven Ashley Jones, Sister Johnnie Ruth Windham, and brother Buddy Sneed.

Surviving are her children, Casey Jones (Tanya), Starr Kerr (Steve), and Krissy Bassham (Jay); daughter-in-law, Harriett Jones; sister, Gerelene Shipley, brother, Bob Sneed; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and two more great-grandchildren on the way. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Friday May 20, at 11 a.m. at the Coulter Chapel of the Lane Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmie Talley officiating. Interment will follow in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens with the grandsons serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 19, from 4-7 p.m. and on Friday, from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
