  • Tuesday, May 3, 2022

The Chattanooga Area Historical Association will hold it's May program on Monday, May 9 at  6 p.m. at The First Presbyterian Church, 554 Mccallie Ave.

David Carroll from Channel 3 Local News will discuss his new book, "Hello, Chattanooga: Famous People Who Have Visited the Tennessee Valley."

"David has received rave reviews for his book, and you will enjoy his presentation and have the opportunity to purchase a book if you wish," organizers said. "We are meeting in the Chapel which is easy to access (no steps) . Parking is easier and free. Many of you will remember the Medical Arts Building and its parking lot; that building and the parking lot are now part of the church.

"For those who are not familiar with the area, the sanctuary is on the corner of McCallie & Douglas; next to the church is a tall building and between it and the larger building which is now owned by UTC is a small driveway. If you cannot find it, call 423-595-4468; we will get you to the meeting.

"All meetings are free of charge and open to the public; we ask you to come and bring a guest."
