The Chase Race Series returns to Boyd's Speedway Friday night, just off Exit 1, I-75 at the Tennessee/Georgia state line. With the current heat wave, the drivers' meeting is pushed back to 7:30 p.m. with Hot Laps to follow immediately thereafter.

Circle K is sponsoring the night's $1,000 to win Pony Stampede that's sure to draw a big field of 4-Cylinder racers.

Hixson's Robby Mason sits atop the Late Model standings over Josh Walker and Tod Hernandez. In the Crate Late Model division Harrison's Ethan Hunter (celebrated recently in victory lane) is leading Tim Clark and Logan Palmer. Booger Brooks sits atop the 602/Sportsman standings, while both Sawyer Tinker and Spencer Singleton chase the Chattanoogan. Front Wheel Drive, B-Hobby/Thunder and the aforementioned Circle K $1,000 to win Pony divisions will also see action Friday night.

Pit gates open 3:30 p.m. with the grandstand gates opening at 6 p.m.

Super Late Models return to Boyd's Speedway in a week to celebrate Independence Day weekend (Friday, July 1) as the Ironman series invades for a $5,000 to win 50 lapper.
