Those That Made Tyner High School Great

Wednesday, August 10, 2022

I would like to thank John Shearer for the article on Tyner High history.  I want to list a few names of teachers that made it great.  I know I will probably leave out a name and I am sorry.  The names that follow made Tyner High School great.  Kent Hampton, Andy Anderson, Bill Kennedy, Terry Parks, Diane Whittaker, Monte Howard, Eva Pennington, Raymond Adams, Marvin Cousins, Patsy Woodham, Joyce Hardaway, Charles Murray, Steve Chattin, Christy Evans, Jimmy Dillard and a cast of great students.

I regret and still disagree with my replacement and transfer from Tyner.  It hurt me and the school.  Tyner has never been the same since we left.

If I had the job to assemble the best faculty in the world, I would start with these people.

I am sorry if I left out your name.

Highest regards to you all,
Ernie McCarson

But as a teen she could be a fire-breathing terror she-wolf during those ... (click for more)
