Beverly Ann McGowan, 73, of Apison, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 20, 2023, surrounded by her family.

A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Ms. McGowan was a graduate of Tyner High School and was a Certified Public Secretary.

She retired from UTC in the Facilities Planning Department after 32 years of service and had attended Tyner United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alma Gray.

Survivors are her son, Brian McGowan, Apison; sister, Jeanette Conner, Chattanooga; niece, Lisa (Amelia Roberts) Conner, Chattanooga, and nephew, Les (Lauren) Conner, Columbia, SC.

The family will hold a private memorial service.
