Super Lawyers ranks outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas in each state who are recognized highly by their peers for their professional achievement. To qualify as a Super Lawyer or Rising Star, nominees must undergo a multiphase selection process which includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations.
The Super Lawyers research team also chooses a limited number of individuals, no more than 2.5% of Tennessee lawyers, to be selected for their Rising Stars list. To be eligible for this recognition, candidates must either be 40 years old or younger or have less than 10 years of practice experience.
