Marie Bennett
Marie L. Bennett 79 of Spring City died Monday, November 27, 2023 at Tennova Healthcare of Cleveland.
She was born on October 5, 1944 in Lynn, Mass. to the late Charles and Lillian LaValley Ouimette.
Marie attended school in Dover, N.H. She spent her life working as a seamstress and being a homemaker. Marie enjoyed reading, sewing and working puzzles. She attended Wolf Creek Baptist Church.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband James R. Bennett Sr., her sons James R. Bennett Jr. and Daniel Bennett, her brother Leon Ouimette and her sister Dorothy Laughton.
Survivors include her daughters Bonnie (Ricky) Boyd of Spring City and Barbara (Glenn) Mercure of Birchwood, TN, her brother Henry Ouimette of Las Vegas, NV and her sister Louise Huntley of Okeechobee, FL, fourteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
There will be a private celebration of life at a later date.
