UAW Says It Has Signed Up Over 1,000 Workers At Chattanooga Volkswagen

UAW officials said they have signed up over 1,000 workers at the Chattanooga Volkswagen plant.

The union said it had enlisted 30 percent of the workforce in the first week.

It is the third try to unionize workers at the plant at the Enterprise South Industrial Park.

Volkswagen recently gave an 11 percent pay increase to production workers.
