Harold Eugene Prentice, 82, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at his residence. Harold was of the Pentecostal faith, was a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy, and was the host of a radio and television show out of Trenton of WFLI.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Eugene and Bessie Gifford Prentice; and brother, William Lawrence Prentice.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Fran” Lacy Prentice; son, Timothy (Kathy) Prentice of Elkins, W. Va., two daughters, Robin (Jaymz) Wyckoff of Sterling, Va., and Niki Putman of W.V.; two step-sons, Terry (Jamie) Bassham of Chattanooga, and Jay (Krissy) Bassham of Fort Oglethorpe; two sisters, Linda Dias of Melbourne, FL., and Patricia Ann Mangus of Wyoming; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
