Easter Jean Starnes Fowler
Easter Jean Starnes Fowler, 87, of Collegedale, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
Born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Mrs. Fowler was a resident of Collegedale from 1970 until 1979 when she moved to Southern California and returned to Collegedale in 2008.
She was a member of Ooltewah Seventh-day Adventist Church and was an avid seamstress and quilter. She will be remembered in the community for her cheese enchiladas and Christmas cookies.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Fowler and brother, Ray Starnes.
Mrs. Fowler had a loving and giving nature to so many that loved and cared for her as tho she was their own mom.
Survivors are her children, Lynda (Johnny) Stevens, Nevada, Randy (Debbie) Fowler, Ooltewah, DeAnn (David) Milly, Huntsville, AL, and Tracy (Donny) Campbell, Warner Robbins, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Scott Page, Heidi Greening, Chris Hindman, Matthew Hinkley, Zacchary Hinkley, Nicholas Lowell, Elliot Lowell, and Brendan Wiseman; 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Feb. 5, at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Fred Fuller officiating. Burial will follow at Collegedale Cemetery.
