Michael Andrew “Andy” Sims, 50, of Graysville, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Tennova Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville.
He was born in Rhea County on Jan. 15, 1973, the son of the late Marvin “Bo” Sims and Sherron (Knox) Sims. He was also preceded in death by his son, “Little Andy” and his two brothers, Marvin Sims, Jr., and Curtis Sims.
Andy lived in Graysville all of his life and was a self-employed laborer.
Andy is survived by his daughter, Jacia Holden of Graysville; his two sisters, Fonda Ballinger of Chattanooga and Karen Beene of Graysville; his nieces and nephews; and his great-nieces and great-nephews.
Andy was laid to rest next to his parents in Pleasant View Cemetery.
