Ocoee Middle School students Skye Walker and Karrah Thomas received The Patriot’s Pen National Essay Writing competition's "Outstanding Submission" award by the VFW.

Ernie Griggs, representing the Cleveland VFW, presented each with their own American flag to recognize their commitment to patriotism.
