  • Thursday, March 16, 2023

Soddy, Daisy & Montlake Historical Association announce the publication of book seven in the series The Good Old Days which began in 1990. The new book visits the war years in the Soddy and Daisy area as well as surrounding areas.

The book has 240 pages filled with over 300 photos of men and women who defended our freedoms around the world from 1941 to August 1945.

The book is available beginning Thursday at both Floyd Hardware and Kays Kastle in Soddy-Daisy and will be for sale at the Good Old Days Museum after April 1.

The association had been given a number of World War I photos and instead of just putting them in a box, decided to include those as well in this book.

If you would like a book mailed to you, the cost of the book is $30 and to mail will be an extra $5. Make the $35 check to: SDMHA and mail it to: SDMHA, 10719 Jenkins Circle, Soddy-Daisy. Tn. 37379.
