Edna “Shorty” Perkinson
Edna “Shorty” Perkinson, age 85, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Agnes and Earl Headrick.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Dean Perkinson; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jimmy Howell of Dalton; one son and daughter-in-law, Randy Bonifacious and Rhonda Cornelison of Dalton; stepchildren, LaDeana Perkinson of Cleveland, TN and Shawn and Kasey Perkinson of Cleveland TN; one sister, Eloise Bridges of Dalton; grandchildren, Mandy and Andy Sharpe, Kyle and Kelli Bonifacious, Tripp and Allison Howell, Tate and Callie Howell; great grandchildren, Asher, Ava, Addie Jane Sharp, Kenley Hamill, James Howell IV, and Woodson Howell.
The funeral service will be Monday, March 20, at 3 p.m. at the Rocky Face Chapel with Rev. Matt Evans officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, March 20, from 1 p.m. until the service time at 3 p.m.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
