Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation announces the opening of its new YMCA North River Clinic in Hixson.
"We are thrilled to now offer two options for rehabilitation care in the Hixson area, with the new facility scheduled to open for patient care on March 27," officials said. "The newly renovated clinic will provide state-of-the-art rehabilitation services to create a more open therapy space, improve natural lighting and foster a healing environment for patients. Our North River services will collaborate with the current YMCA fitness programs, making for a seamless transition from rehabilitation to a fitness routine."
The North River YMCA hosts many community fitness programs, such as Pedaling for Parkinson's and Rocksteady Boxing.
The facility will expand Siskin Hospital's aquatic therapy program and welcome an additional pool for therapy for Siskin Hospital outpatients.
It will also offer physical therapy services, with plans to expand services in the future.

The new North River facility is located at 4138 Hixson Pike in Chattanooga.
