Bobby Michael Merritt, age 73, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Gene and Imogene Merritt and a sister, Carol Withrow.

Bobby was a veteran of the United States Marines and was a member of Waterville Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sheila Merritt of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Maranda and Shannon Crawford of Cleveland, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda and Rick Garrison of Ringgold; grandchild, Angel (Eli) Dykes and great-grandchildren, Roslynd Dykes and Raeland Dykes; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 2, at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home at 3 p.m.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1 p.m. until the service hour at 3 p.m.

Burial at Flint Springs Cemetery, Cleveland, TN, with full military honors.
