Terry Joan Posey
Terry Joan Posey, 68, of Hixson, Tennessee, passed away on May 24, 2023.
Terry was a graduate of Hixson High School Class of 1972. She went on to receive her Associates Degree from Chattanooga State in 1974. After school she went to work with Bellsouth which is now AT & T. She retired after 38 years of service. She was a member of the AT & T Pioneers. Terry was a devoted Christian and she and her husband, Gary attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and crafts, but most of all spending time at home with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Sue Roberts.
Left behind to cherish Terry’s memory are her husband of 44 years, Gary Posey, daughter, Dayna Posey, brother, Byron (Deborah) Roberts, sister, Karen (Chris) Rackley, nieces and nephews, Vicki Ritchie, David Ritchie, John Roberts and Luke Roberts, Ellen Coffman, Landon Arnold and Gracie Arnold, several great-nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Terry’s Life will be held graveside in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens on Saturday May 27, at 3:30 p.m.
The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m.
She will be laid to rest in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens alongside her parents.
Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
