Philip Duran Brown, 64, of Rock Spring passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Agnes Brown.

Prior to his moving to Rock Spring, he resided in Hendersonville, NC, where he was a sales and service technician for 31 years until his retirement with Crown Lift Trucks. Philip had a great love for his family and a deep bond with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Carla Brown; daughter, Nikki Gravely; sons, Philip (Jacqueline) Brown, Richard (Fidela) Brown, and Jeremy (Georgie) Gravely; grandchildren, Haydon, Weston, Emery, Leyton, Kennedy, Reagan, and Nasya; sisters, Connie (Leonard) Barger and Caron (Jeff) Ritchey; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, June 5, at Peavine Baptist Church with Pastor Eddie Rushing officiating.

Interment will be held at Chickamauga City Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Brent Burrell, Taylor Oliver, Jeff Ritchey, Dave Ritchey, Marty Oglesby, and Keith McKin.

Honorary pallbearer is Leonard Barger.

Visitation will be held at the church on Monday prior to the service from 1 p.m. until the service hour.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
