Frank Richardson Grant, 81, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.

He was born on March 5, 1942, in Chattanooga to the late Winiford Redmond and James Edward Grant. Frank graduated from Kirkman Technical School and was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for Red Food Stores for 30 years and he and his wife, Debi, owned Frank’s Grocery for 16 years.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, James and Winiford Grant; brothers, James, Charles and William Grant and sisters, Peggy Crawford and Naomi Dean.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Deborah McNabb Grant; son, Frank Grant Jr. (Liz); grandchildren, Megan Grant (Fletcher Hodnett) and Mary Catherine Grant; great-grandchildren, Felix and Martha; sister, Libby Gilreath (David), as well as many nieces and nephews.

At Frank’s request, there will be no visitation and a private burial will be held at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
