Our community has lost a very well-loved icon of local media. Kevin West always had a laugh and a way to make you laugh.

Over the three decades I was fortunate to know Kevin, he always had time to show interest in what you wanted to talk about. His stellar careers in both media and the U. S. Navy are very impressive and we were lucky to have someone of his character amongst us.

Kevin loved Chattanooga and he loved the people he came to know here. He will be sorely missed.

Prayers go out to his wife Carlene and his children.
