Erlanger Primary Care is expanding its footprint with a new location in Ooltewah at 5953 Elementary Way, Suite 109.

Erlanger Primary Care – Ooltewah’s services include full-spectrum care for adults, including onsite lab services, EKG and X-Ray capabilities, immunizations, health and wellness physical exams, as well as chronic condition diagnoses and management. The practice is currently accepting new patients.

James Newby, DO, a board-certified family medicine physician, is currently practicing at the new location.
As a Chattanooga native, Dr. Newby attended Central High School and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Following his undergraduate studies, he received his medical education from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and went on to complete his family medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine – Chattanooga. Dr. Newby is focused on providing continuous and comprehensive care with an overall emphasis on a patient’s health and wellness.

“I am happy to be a part of Erlanger’s efforts to address the need for more primary care in this rapidly growing area,” said Dr. Newby. “We look forward to helping people manage their chronic medical conditions and meet their healthcare goals.
