Congressman John Rose, in the fore front, and Speaker Cameron Sexton greet Rhea Countians who came out to meet the Freedom Tour.
The Tennessee Freedom Tour hosted by Tennessee Speaker of the House Cameron Sexton and featuring elected officials from across the state, kicked off at the Historic Rhea County Courthouse Tuesday morning.
Speaker Sexton, along with 6th District Congressman John Rose and Deputy Governor Butch Eley, who is also Tennessee Department of Transportation Commissioner, met Rhea countians in the cool morning.
The Tour was on the Courthouse lawn for an hour and a half and left headed toward Kingston in Roane County, with later stops scheduled for Crossville, Cookeville and Middle Tennessee.
The tour will continue until Nov. 4, touring all 95 counties in Tennessee.
Speaker Sexton urged people to get out and vote, as well as encourage their neighbors to also get out and vote.
The red bus sported all the major republican candidates running in the Nov. 5 general election.
