Lee University Students Join Forces With Operation Compassion

  • Wednesday, October 9, 2024

Members of the Lee University Symphonic Band lent their support to relief efforts for victims of Hurricane Helene.

This initiative was organized in collaboration with Operation Compassion and Cleveland’s local radio station, Mix 104.1, which encouraged community members to drop off non-perishable donations at the Life Care Centers of America parking lot.

The response was remarkable, with hundreds of residents coming together to contribute.

Volunteers from the area were on hand to sort and load the donations into Operation Compassion's transport vehicles, which delivered the supplies to those affected by the storm in North Carolina and Florida.
